ABOUT
Walk for Change is an annual fundraiser started by LAMP Community Health Centre's Among Friends mental health services program in 2013. The inaugural event took place on Saturday, May 11th, and raised funds to support various local mental health support programs in the Etobicoke-Lakeshore area.
The 2nd annual event on Saturday, July 12th, proved to be just as successful! Attendees participated in one of two routes around the Etobicoke-Lakeshore community, followed by a community BBQ featuring activities, entertainment, a raffle, and an artisan fair! Attendees, volunteers, and sponsors came together to raise funds in support of LAMP Community Health Centre's Among Friends and Harm Reduction Programs. Mayoral candidate Olivia Chow even joined us to congratulate walkers as they returned to LAMP!
